All notable changes to the in-situ observations network and processing are documented below.

The basic CRNS correction and calculation procedure adheres to COSMOS EU schema by [Bogena et al. (2022)](https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-14-1125-2022).
Substantial deviations will be documented in this changelog.


## [20250910] - 2025-09-10

### Fixed
- At site Borkeni (BKN), the SoilNet sensors 3 and 6 were accidentally exchanged. This was fixed in the backend so the measurements now represent the right depths.
- All data for site BKN have been reprocessed as of 2025-09-11.

- add CRNS calibration for site GES from 2024-10-16

### Fixed

- reset atmosphericPressure from hPa to Pa
- recalculate CRNS calibration using absolute humidity instead of specific humidity

### Changed

- replace COSMOS EU incoming N correction with new correction by [McJannet & Desilets (2023)](https://doi.org/10.1029/2022WR033889)
- add new N0 calculation after installation of new S2+ sensor in GES
- switched columnnames for u-wind component and v-wind component to match with actual measurements
